Kathmandu, November 26: Chairman of the opposition party, Unified Socialist Party, and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has commented that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should not be afraid of carrying out the BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) project with China.
He said this while answering the questions raised by media persons after the meeting called by PM Oli to discuss his visit to China at Singh Durbar on Monday.
Nepal said that the project is in the interest of Nepal and should benefit the country from it. He said that since Nepal has already accepted the project, there is no need to be afraid of going ahead with it mentioning that Nepal should advance its relations with other countries for its benefit, Nepal said that it should proceed naturally.
