
Kathmandu, November 22: The ruling party UML is currently holding a meeting at the Durbar Marg in Kathmandu. The rally that came out from different places turned into a mass assembly in front of the Narayanhitty Royal Palace. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presided over the assembly. UML’s leaders and workers participated in the meeting.

The Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur district committees have organized the Jagran Sabha (awareness assembly) on the Durbar Road. UML Publicity Department Chief Rajendra Gautam informed that this Jagran Sabha has been organized to maintain national harmony and national unity.
The rally was led by CPN (UML) Bagmati Province Committee Chairman Kailash Dhungel.
Traffic management in the Kathmandu Valley has been disrupted due to the demonstrations of various groups, including the UML. Supporters of medical practitioner Durga Prasai organized a protest assembly in Koteshwor, Kathmandu.
Similarly, the cooperative victims are organizing a demonstration at the Maitighar Mandala today.
Due to the UML assembly in Durwarmarga, the movement of Durga Prasai’s supporters in Koteshwor and the co-operative victims in Maitighar, the traffic management of the Kathmandu Valley has been affected today. The traffic police have set up diversion points at various places. Vehicles are not allowed to enter the road area. Although the traffic police have planned to stop vehicles at Maitighar and Koteshwar, there is a heavy flow of vehicles at those places since morning. The traffic police have requested to travel using alternative roads in places where the movement of vehicles is affected.
