Kathmandu, November 22: Former King Gyanendra reached Lumbini, birth place of the Lord Buddha, and performed a special pooja at the Thousand Buddha Temple this morning.
The newly constructed Temple was inaugurated today.
Upon his arrival at the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa this morning, a large crowd of people including leaders and workers of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) welcomed the King.
The King is scheduled to return this afternoon, according to reports.
