Kathmandu, November 21: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will visit India soon after returning from his visit to China. At a press conference held at the Press Union Dhangadhi today, the minister said, "The date of the Prime Minister's visit to China has been fixed, he will visit India soon after his return from China." Stating that it is customary to go on a foreign tour after the appointment of a new Prime Minister, the Home Minister noted that it is common to go ahead with a visit to either India or China.

He claimed that false rumors were being spread that there was a rift between the Nepali Congress and UML over the PM’s visit to China. "There is no disagreement between the UML and the Congress on any issue, although the two parties are the main competitors, they are running the government together."

He also said he would run the next general elections together. He also said there was no discussion between the two parties about changing the ministers in the government.

“So far, no discussion about dismissing ministers has been taken," he said.
