Kathmandu, November 15: After the Supreme Court's decision, World Link paid the Nepal Telecommunications Authority 2 billion 15 million rupees as revenue dues.

WorldLink Communications has paid the royalty and Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF) to the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) amounting to Rs2.15 crore and Rs14,755 crore respectively.

According to Santosh Poudel, spokesperson of the NTA, World Link has paid Rs1.389 billion in royalties and Rs762.395,000 in RTDF refunds. Poudel, the spokesman for the authority, said that after World Link paid the dues on Friday following the Supreme Court verdict, the necessary decision will be taken by the Authority for the renewal of the company's license.
