Kathmandu, November 15: President Ramchandra Paudal returned home this morning after attending the COP-29 Summit on climate change held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Paudel had left to attend the Summit on November 10.

Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Paudel was received by Vice President Ramshahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Dahal, ministers and high-ranking government officials.

President Paudel addressed the Summit on November 12 urging the world leaders to save Mount Sagarmatha to save the earth from climate change.
