Kathmandu, November 12: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has said that investment should not be discouraged. He stressed the need for cooperation from all sections of society to accelerate the country on the path of economic prosperity. Inaugurating the second Gandaki Province Festival organized by the FICCI, Dhakal said, "The idea of hindering development and investment in certain areas of the country is still not removed. This type of disruption has a negative impact not only on investment but also on the prosperity of the country."
Stating that there is a huge potential for the development of religious and cultural tourism infrastructure in particular, he stressed that it would require huge capital and an investment environment.
