Kathmandu, November 7: The ruling alliance Nepali Congress and UML have formed an eight-member high-level mechanism to make the government work effective.

Four members from the Nepali Congress, Purnabahadur Khadka, Ramesh Lekhak, Arzu Rana and Gagan Thapa are included in the mechanism, whereas, from UML, Ishwar Pokhrel, Shankar Pokharel, Bishnu Paudel, and Bishnu Rimal have been included.

The mechanism is to enhance cooperation between the two parties and make the government work effective.

Both parties have also decided to constitute such mechanisms in the provinces and districts.

The mechanism is commanded by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
