Kathmandu, November 4: Coinciding the 96th birth anniversary of noted writer, economist and diplomat, the late Govinda Prasad Lohani’s travelogue “Austrilya Dekhi Europe Samma” (From Australia to Europe), unveiled amidst a function today.

Published by the Kripa Publications House and edited by Kapil Lohani and Bimal Bhoukaji, the travelogue is excerpted from the late Lohani’s diary from 1958 to 1963 and published in a book form, informed Kapil Lohani, the late writer’s son.

Kapil Lohani informed that the late Lohani wrote a series of diaries for six decades and many valuable and educative things are documented in them.

Although, this is a travelogue, it is very informative that how European countries developed decades ago, said Lohani.

Dr Madan Prasad Bhattarai, former Foreign Secretary and Ambassador presented a review of the travelogue. Bhattarai said that the book is very informative to read.

The book was unveiled by ten dignitaries, including Speaker of the Bagmati Province Assembly Bhuwan Pathak, RPP’s Senior Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra, literate Pushkar Lohani, Sarita Pant, Ramesh Kharel, among others.

The Society of Single Personalities, chaired by Kapil Lohani, coordinated the program.
