Kathmandu, October 29: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has said that the present government is clear about adopting a zero-tolerance policy on corruption. Speaking at a meeting of the State Administration and Good Governance Committee under the House of Representatives in Singha Durbar on Monday, the Home Minister said that the government is clear about adopting a policy of zero tolerance on corruption and control of corruption by introducing necessary laws and legislations.

“The government plans to approve the bill from the upcoming session by finalizing it from the committee as soon as possible,” the Home Minister said. He also urged the committee to pass and implement the bill so that the next session of the federal parliament could approve it”. “The present law related to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority and the Corruption Act should be amended to control corruption,” he said.
