Kathmandu, October 27: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the government is preparing to formulate a national policy for artificial intelligence (AI).
PM Oli said it while addressing the ‘International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI)’ organized by Youth Association Nepal in Kathmandu today.
He said that the government is in the process of preparing the AI strategic plan.
AI should be used for development and people’s convenience. He said that the work of spreading hatred in society by misusing AI needs to be strictly monitored.
PM Oli suggested that there is a need to discard the negative side of AI and adopt the positive side. He said that AI should be used to make life simpler and easier. He said that AI should be used with the aim of development of the country.
