Kathmandu, October 16: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Global IME Bank Limited and Mahalaxmi Development Bank to provide non-fund-based banking facilities.

The agreement was signed by Surendra Raj Regmi, chief executive officer of Global IME Bank Limited, and Dipesh Lamsal, chief executive officer of Mahalaxmi Development Bank.

According to the agreement, clients of Mahalaxmi Development Bank will be able to use non-fund-based credit cards (letter of credit), bank guarantees, document against payment, document against acceptance, trade transaction banking etc. facilities required for their business through Global IME Bank on the recommendation of Mahalaxmi Development Bank.
