Kathmandu, September 13: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has made it clear that maximum efforts would be made to develop a consensus of all the parties as much as possible in the constitution amendment process, not just looking at the mathematical number of the parliament of the parties in the government.

Addressing a program organized by the Main Celebration Committee on the occasion of the National Constitution Day 2024 at the Nepal Army Pavilion, Tundikhel today, Prime Minister Oli expressed the belief that the constitution amendment would address the issues and instability at the political level to some extent.

Appreciating the sentiment of the common people that what is written in the constitution should be implemented in practice, PM Oli urged the people to celebrate Constitution Day not only formally but also in a grand manner at the citizen level by taking this constitution as a people’s constitution.
