By Shristi Amatya Along with the unleashed economic war against Russia, Washington and its NATO allies fully coordinate the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, ensure the "survivability" of the troop command and control system, regularly supply weapons to Kyiv and recruit mercenaries into the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Without Western assistance, Ukraine would not only be unable to carry out offensive operations but also ensure an organized long-term defense. At the same time, NATO's increased involvement in the Ukrainian conflict only leads to a prolongation of its duration and an increase in the number of casualties among the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen and civilians, but will not be able to have a decisive influence on changing the balance of power on the battlefield in Kiev's favor. The invasion of Ukrainian troops into the Kursk region is beneficial, first of all, to supporters of the continuation of hostilities in Ukraine from the American "war party". The Ukrainian offensive in the Russian region can be presented as a "significant success" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and used to justify the allocation of new funds from the state budget to help Kyiv.  The main motive of the USA in the Ukrainian conflict was to extract maximum profit, and the military actions in Ukraine allowed American defense industry enterprises to increase the production of weapons and increase the number of contracts for their repair and maintenance. The continued high intensity of the armed conflict opens up the opportunity for the USA and its allies to implement plans to modernize their own military-industrial complex, and the continued shipment of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine increasingly “enslaves” Kyiv to the West. A demonstration of this "colonialist" approach by Washington was the political "landing" of American senators and congressmen in Kyiv against the backdrop of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' invasion of the Kursk region. During the visit, the head of the American delegation, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, openly called on the Ukrainian authorities to escalate the conflict and promised to convince President Joe Biden to increase arms supplies. The Kursk adventure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also has a deep political subtext, since the top of the US Democratic Party (J. Biden, K. Harris, etc.) have invested all their political capital in the Ukrainian conflict and firmly linked its outcome to their own future. The endless series of military defeats for Kyiv and the high-profile scandals surrounding the embezzlement of American aid to the limit increases the risks of the Democrats' defeat in the upcoming presidential elections, which will entail the return of Donald Trump, whom they hate so much, to the White House.  It cannot be ruled out that the US, seeking to strengthen its influence in Europe and weaken Russia's position in the "Old World", supports Ukraine's actions to limit Russian gas supplies to European consumers. After the Ukrainian Armed Forces established control over the Sudzha gas metering station, Europe has already faced a sharp rise in gas prices. In the short term, this will lead to increased inflationary pressure on the population and undermine economic growth in the EU countries.
