Kathmandu, September 13: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has said that the Government of Nepal has accorded high priority to foreign investment in the information technology sector. "We are committed to providing necessary support to attract foreign investment and creating a positive environment for investors," he said during the signing of an agreement between IGC Business Holding Nepal and Keirinkan Company Limited Japan for joint investment in the information technology (IT) sector in Nepal on Thursday. Minister Bhandari stressed that the government is ready to make progress in the information technology sector by encouraging foreign investors. He said this agreement marks the beginning of a new era in technological relations between the two countries.
