Nepali Congress MP Shashank Koirala has said that he will be a candidate for the party president in the upcoming national convention of the party. He said this while addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 111th birth anniversary of Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala in Kathmandu on Monday. He also said that this time he will contest the election to the post of the party president and it will be determined in the future.
Koirala, son of the late BP Koirala, said that he was inspired by his father’s saying, “Try to become a good man rather than a big man”.
He also said that BP Koirala was an ideology rather than a personality.
