Kathmandu, September 9: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a meeting with senior leaders from the Nepali Congress and UML, including NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday.
The leaders reviewed the performance of the government and discussed making effective the government work.
During the meeting held in Baluatar, the PM’s official residence, besides Deuba, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Foreign Minister Arzu Rana, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, and UML general secretary Shankar Pokhrel were present.
The meeting is said to have decided to formulate a common minimum program and form a task force for this purpose. The meeting also decided to hold a meeting of parties in the government alliance today (Monday).
