Kathmandu, September 2: According to the lunar calendar, today is Kushe Aunsi, known as No Moon’s Day and the day to see Father’s face or pay tribute to Father.

Sons and daughters celebrate the Day by offering gifts and sweets to their fathers. Those who have lost their fathers, go to the Gokarna Ghat or other river banks and pay tribute to their deceased fathers.

Kuse Ausi is being observed at the Gokarna Ghat in Kathmandu.
