Kathmandu, August 22: Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba, who is on an official visit to India, has urged South Asian University professors to jointly research various common problems including the effects of climate change in South Asia and suggest solutions.

Rana made this request to the team led by Professor KK Agarwal, President of South Asian University, during a meeting today.

Foreign Minister Dr. Rana said, “Climate change has become a burning problem in this region. Similarly, there are many common problems of our South Asian region. I think it would be good if the researchers and academics of this university could jointly suggest solutions to solve those problems.”
