Kathmandu, August 18: The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Global IME Bank, Surendra Raj Regmi, has taken charge today. Bank’s chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal administered the oath of office and secrecy to Regmi at a function today. Taking charge, CEO Regmi said that along with the commercial expansion of the Bank, he will work keeping in mind the interests and benefits of the depositors. He also promised to make the digitalization of the Bank simple and customer-friendly. Bank’s chairman Dhakal expressed his belief that the Bank will expand further as it is led by an experienced officer. He said that because of Regmi’s working experience in the Global Bank, he will perform effective work. Global IME Bank is considered to be the largest bank in the country in terms of depositors and branch expansion. Regmi, who appointed as the new CEO of Global IME Bank, was previously the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. CEO Regmi has 35 years of experience in the banking sector. People’s News Monitoring Service.
