Kathmandu, August 16: US Deputy Secretary of State Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard R. Verma arrived in Kathmandu today.
The Department of State has informed that the visit aims to advance and support a prosperous, secure, and resilient future for both countries, Nepal and the USA.
The visit will focus on shared priorities including economic development, women’s empowerment, energy, and people-to-people ties.
Deputy Secretary Verma, after concluding his visit to Kathmandu, will fly to New Delhi on August 17.
