Kathmandu, August 16: The Nepal Oil Corporation has slashed the price of petroleum products effective from this morning.
The board meeting of the Corporation held on Thursday, decided to reduce the price of petrol by Rs 5 per liter, and the prices of diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter.
Petrol will now cost Rs 165 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will be priced at Rs 155 per liter in the Kathmandu Valley.
Following the new tariff sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the NOC reduced the price of petroleum products.
To note, IOC is the sole supplier of the petroleum products for the NOC
