Kathmandu, August 15: Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chairman Rajendra Lingden has remarked that the King should be recommended for the Nobel Prize for his contribution to the peace process in Nepal. During the discussion on the TRC Bill in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, he recalled that the King easily abdicated the throne to maintain peace. He said, “The king quit the throne easily.”

Stating that only the mathematics in the parliament is not sufficient, he said that lessons should be learned from Bangladesh. Corruption and violence should always be punished, he said. “Many people were attacked just because of their faith and some lost their lives. My daughter and wife had to leave that way. May such a day never come,” he said.
