Kathmandu, August 13: The Truth and Reconciliation Amendment Bill is being presented in Parliament today.

Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee chair Bimala Subedi is likely to present the Bill in Parliament today.

The three-member task force reached an agreement to resolve the disputed issues last week. The task force had submitted the report to supreme leaders KP Sharma Oli, Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpakamal Dahal.

After the Parliament’s approval, the President should finally approve the Bill to transform it into a law of the country.
