Kathmandu, August 9: The transitional justice bill has been unanimously passed by the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee in the House of Representatives on Thursday.
During the meeting, the committee passed the bill to amend the Truth and Reconciliation Act, 2071.
A task force was formed after the committee could not agree on some points of the bill. The bill was passed by the committee with the consensus reached by the three-party task force and approval by the supreme leaders of the three major parties.
