Kathmandu, August 4: Literate, creative writer, educationist and social activist the late Rajendra Subedi’s 82nd birth anniversary was observed recalling his contribution in the field of literature, education and social service.
The Rajendra Subedi Memorial Society organized the program on Friday, August 2 in Kathmandu. On the occasion, the Society presented the Rajendra Subedi Art Award to choreographer Bhairav Bahadur Thapa and the Rajendra Subedi Literary Award to Prof Dr Dayaram Shrestha Sambhab.
Former prime minister Jhalanath Khanal was the chief guest of the program chaired by Prof Dr Jeebendra Giri, chairman of the Society.
