Kathmandu, July 29: Air flights have been affected at Resunga Airport in Gulmi for a month. Suman Thapa, head of Resunga Airport, informed that flights have been suspended since the second week of June due to rain and thick fog during the rainy season.

According to him, Nepal Airlines, which has been flying regularly three times a week recently, has not been able to fly after June 14. Chief Thapa said passengers who have booked tickets for Resunga-Kathmandu and Kathmandu-Resunga are returning to the airport daily. As there will be problems with regular flights until the weather improves, Chief Thapa said that the flight has been stopped considering the safety of the passengers.

An 18-seat capacity Twin Otter aircraft of the Nepal Airlines corporation operates three flights a week.
