NC, UML agree to assign 16 ambassadors through a bhagbanda
Kathmandu, July 27: Prime Minister and UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba have reached an understanding for assigning 16 ambassadors including the ambassadors to India, the USA, London and China through a bhagbanda (based on equal sharing between the NC and UML).
They also decided to recall those ambassadors assigned from the quota of the Maoist Center and Ekakrit Samajwadi Party.
The previous decision to assign ambassadors from the Maoist Center has been dropped and UML is to review some names already recommended by the party, sources say.
