Kathmandu, July 26: The newly appointed vice chairman of the Planning Commission, Prof Dr Shivaraj Adhikari has taken oath of office and secrecy amidst a function today. Prime Minister and chairman of the Planning Commission KP Sharma Oli administered the oath ceremony. Adhikari, a professor at Tribhuvan University, was appointed the vice chairman of the Planning Commission on Thursday, July 25. Accordingly, newly appointed members of the Planning Commission, Dr RP Bichar, Dr Ramesh Prasad Singh, Dr Prakashkumar Shrestha Geeta Kumari Paudel Adhikari, Dr Jaya Bahadur Tandan also took the oath of office.
