Surendraraj Regmi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Global IME Bank. Regmi, the senior deputy chief executive officer of the Bank, has been appointed as the CEO, effective August 17, by the Bank’s board meeting held on Thursday morning, July 25.
Regmi joined Global IME Bank in 2008. He has held the roles of Chief Credit Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Business Officer in the Bank. He holds a Masters in Economics and Business Accounts from the University of Wales, Bangor, UK. He has also served as the chairman of First Microfinance.
