Kathmandu, July 25: The Nepal Airlines Corporation has expressed deep sorrow on the sad demise of 18 persons who died in the accident of the ill-fated aircraft owned by the Saurya Airlines, CRJ 200 with 9N-AME call sign, while taking off from the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to Pokhara on Wednesday, July 24.
The Corporation has extended heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and also wished for the speedy recovery of the health of the Captain, the only survivor in the accident, presently undergoing treatment.
It is stated in a statement issued by Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson of the Corporation.
