
Kathmandu, July 22: After the student agitation in Bangladesh protesting against the government quota in the government service intensified, the Nepali students studying in different universities in Bangladesh, have started to return to Nepal.
More than 12 hundred students have already returned to Nepal, according to the Foreign Ministry sources.
According to the Ministry, around three thousand Nepali students are studying in different medical colleges in Bangladesh.
Protesting the 5% reservation for the family of the freedom fighters in the government services, the students in Bangladesh have launched violent agitation. Until now around 100 students are said to be killed in the violent demonstration in Bangladesh. The government has issued a curfew to control the agitation.
Meanwhile, the Bangladeshi Court has scrapped the provision of a 5% reservation to the family of the freedom fighters.
