Kathmandu, July 21: Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, addressing the House meeting just before the voting on the trust motion, has made public the seven-point deal between Oli and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The seven-point deal made public by PM Oli:

  1. To preserve and protect national interests, to control corruption, to deliver good governance and accelerate the development of the nation, to ensure political stability and to amend the constitution by incorporating other political parties forming a coalition government under Article 76 (2).

2. The coalition government is to give priority to the amendment of the constitution and drafting related laws.

3. Ending the present economic recession by developing a professional environment, encouraging domestic and foreign investment creating enough respectable jobs within the country.

4. The coalition government will be led by K.P. Sharma Oli for two years and then NC president to lead the government until the next general elections.

5. Functioning the government by developing the minimum common program.

6. The two major coalition partners will have leadership roles and representation based on equal status.

7. Formation of the provincial governments based on the spirit of the national coalition government and accelerating local-level development works according to the aspiration of the people.
