Kathmandu, July 19: Nepal Rastra Bank governor Mahaprasad Adhikari was scheduled to present the monetary policy for the new fiscal year 2024/25 this afternoon. For this purpose, Adhikari called the meeting of the NRB board of directors.

However, during the briefing of the police to PM Oli and newly appointed finance advisor Yubraj Khatiwada, the latter wanted to study the policy, therefore, the NRB board meeting called for this morning has been cancelled by ending the possibility of presentation of the monitory policy this afternoon.
