Kathmandu, July 18: Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Devendra Dahal has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba have reached to a gentleman agreement in leading the government turn by turn.
Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the 62nd Engineers’ Day on Thursday, Minister Dahal said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will lead the government for two years.
He clarified that based on the agreement between the Nepali Congress and the UML, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba will become the Prime Minister for the remaining term.
“It is open. Because of that, the present government ensures stability. It will be successful. Now it is not allowed to fail. It should be made successful” the Minister said.
He also said that the agreement between the Congress and UML was not hidden. He said that for political stability, two big parties formed the government together.
