The CPN –UML’s recent central committee meeting has approved the party standing committee’s disciplinary action against its three MPs who visited America without the party’s consent about a a month ago. The party action suspended the MP’s for three years from the party membership, but one of the victims of the party action Bijaya Subba’s three-year suspension term has been cut down to six months for his written regret.

The central committee, however, approved the standing committee’s full three-year suspension term for the rest two UML MP’s Lal Bahadur Pandit and Krishna Prasad Bhattarai.
