Ekikriti Samajwadi holding its national convention
Kathmandu, June 30: The Ekikrit Samajwadi Party led by Madhav Nepal, a splinter of the UML, is holding its national convention beginning today.
The inaugural session of the national convention is taking place at the Nepal Academy in Kathmandu today.
Madhav Nepal is interested in leading the party, whereas, Ghanashyam Bhushal, with the support of Jhalanath Khanal, may challenge Nepal to the post of the party chairman.
The Party has a strength of ten MPs in the parliament. The Party was unable to get the status of a national party in the past election.
