Coalition government jolts after Deuba-Oli meet
Kathmandu, June 30: Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal is worried about the Saturday meeting between Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli in the presence of Deuba’s wife and NC MP Arzu Deuba.
The Deuba couple reached Balkot to meet Oli and held a three-hour-long meeting on Saturday, June 29.
The Balkot sources informed that Deuba offered the PM’s post to Oli for an NC-UML coalition government toppling the present Dahal-led government.
Oli is said to be positive on Deuba’s offer, sources said.
On the other hand, PM Dahal phoned Oli this morning and asked to manage time for a meeting between PM Dahal and Oli today.
Since the file of fake Bhutanese refugee case has been opened by the Central Investigation Bureau, Deuba has become worried, reports state. It is said that the case may reach up to Arzu, analyses have opined.
