Police interact with tourists at Everest base camp
Kathmandu, April 15: The District Police Office Solukhumbu has interacted with tourists by reaching the base camp of the world's highest peak, Sagarmatha (Mt Everest).
The police patrol under the leadership of District Police Office Chief and Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire reached the base camp and interacted with the tourists about peace and security.
District Police Chief Ghimire, and Assistant Chief District Officer Saroj Aryal along with the team reached the base camp and asked the tourists to inform them if there was any lack of security.
The base camp located at an altitude of 5,364 meters is now full of domestic and foreign tourists. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghimire said that the base camp was patrolled when the traffic of tourists was increased.
