Kathmandu, April 12: The government has decided to end the winter session of Parliament by April 14. The cabinet meeting held today decided to end the winter session following continuous obstruction of the House meeting by the Nepali Congress demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe commission against DPM and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.  Around two dozen of important bills are ready to be approved, but due to the abstraction of the House meeting, they remained impending.  Only two bills have been approved by Parliament since its constitution after the November 2022 general elections. The President, under the recommendation of the cabinet of ministers, will announce the end of the winter session of the House.  People’s News Monitoring Service.
