Kathmandu, April 10: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr (Eid), the government has announced a public holiday on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Eid is one of the biggest festivals celebrated by the Muslim community, according to the Islamic calendar. Eid is celebrated at the end of the month of Ramadan, which is a month-long fast and prayer.
