Locals violate curfew, security opens fire, dozens wounded in Sunsari
Kathmandu, April 6: When the two communities came down in the street for a direct confrontation even after the Sunsari administration announced a curfew, the security personnel opened fire to control the situation, and dozens of agitators were injured on Friday.
Ten agitators and 15 police personnel have been injured in the incident.
The Nepal Police had opened 31 rounds of blank fire to control the situation.
Above five thousand locals in different groups were involved in direct confrontation by holding sticks.
