Kathmandu, April 6: Former King Gyanendra, who reached Jumla this morning, is greeted by locals.  The former King, who reached Jumla by aircraft, drove a car from the Jumla airport to the Krishna Temple. From the Krishna Temple, the King reached the Chandannath Temple on foot. King Gyanendra, on his way, met and interacted with the locals.  Locals have organized a civic felicitation program in honor of the King near the Chandannath Temple as the district administration refused to organize the program at Tundikhel in Khalanga.   Thousands of people gathered at the Jumla headquarters to greet the King.  The civic felicitation program is being organized under the coordination of RPP’s MP Gyanendra Shahi in cooperation with different organizations, reports the Deshshanchar online portal.
