Five-point agreement to end conflict in Sunsari
Kathmandu, April 6: The all-sector meeting held today in Sunsari concluded with a five-point agreement for ending the conflict in the district.
The local administration has decided to soften the curfew imposed on Friday, along with the prevailing peace in the district.
The all-sector meeting held at district headquarters in Inarwa, was concluded by condemning the violent conflict between the two groups and demanding action against those who were responsible for the conflict. They also agreed to provide free medical treatment to the injured people. Also, the meeting decided to organize a goodwill rally for peace and harmony in society.
The meeting was attended by representatives from different political parties, groups involved in violent confrontations, relatives of those injured, different social organizations and people’s representatives from the district.
