63 climbers obtain permission to scale Mt Sagarmatha
Kathmandu, April 2: A total of 63 climbers have obtained permission to scale Mt Sagarmatha (Everest). According to the Tourism Ministry, 13 females and 50 males in five groups have obtained permission to climb the highest peak during this spring season.
According to the Ministry, a total of 42 female and 106 male climbers in 17 groups have received permission to climb different peaks, including Mt Saharmatha.
The government has collected 15 million, 591 thousand rupees from the royalty while permitting the climbers.
