Kathmandu, April 1: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the petrol price, reaching 175 rupees per liter.  The board of directors meeting of the NOC held on Sunday decided to hike the price based on the new tariff sent by the Indian Oil Corporation. The NOC has not increased the diesel and kerosene prices, yet IOC has sent a new tariff with an increase of 39 paisa per liter.  Accordingly, IOC has sent an increased tariff on LPG. IOC has increased 27.44 rupees per cylinder of LPG. Nevertheless, NOC has not increased the price in the local market.  People’s News Monitoring Service.
