Kathmandu, April 1: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has recently requested Rajendra Lingden, the chairman of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, who has been involved in a street struggle with the agenda of system change, to participate in the provincial as well as central governments. Sources said that PM Dahal, who had neglected the RPP while developing a new alliance, called and met Lingden himself. According to RPP sources, there was a meeting between PM Dahal and Lingden on March 28. During the meeting, the PM said that the door is open for RPP to participate in the provincial and also the central governments. He assured that if the RPP is ready to come to the government, they can give the ministries they have taken before. However, Lingden has rejected the PM’s offer. He made it clear that the government is not a priority as his party is in agitation. When the new coalition was being formed, it was announced that there was an agreement between PM Dahal and UML chairman K.P. Sharma Oli not to include the RPP in the coalition because it was a reactionary force. The PM insisted that there was no such agreement. "I am surprised how such news came," Dahal said, "It is completely false." KPjee and I have not that kind of conversation”. 'The prime minister's main interest in meeting Lingden was the RPP’s support for the provincial governments. RPP seems to be in a decisive position for the formation of at least two new coalition governments. Those provinces are Gandaki and Bagmati. People’s News Monitoring Service.
