Kathmandu, March 30: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha, who is on an official visit to China, reached Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, on Friday. During a meeting with the Chinese Communist Party's Tibet Secretary and Head of Government Wang Chung Cheng, Shrestha discussed the problems in the border areas. Leader Wang pledged to implement the decision to open all border points between Shrestha and his counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing. Party Secretary Wang said that the agreements reached between the governments of Nepal and China are being implemented. Along with senior officials of the Government of Tibet, he pledged to support Nepal's development to the best of its ability. "There are 14 border points between Nepal and China. We will implement it based on the compatibility of the weather," the Nepalese official quoted Tibet Secretary Wang as saying.
