Kathmandu, March 20: The Central Investigation Bureau of the Nepal Police has stated that Nepali Congress MP Binod Chaudhary is under investigation.  The CIB wrote a letter to Speaker Devraj Ghimire to inform him about its investigation on the MP.  Beuro’s investigation officer, DIG Hobindra Bogati, wrote the letter to the Speaker stating that Chaudhary is under investigation for the illegal occupation of government property in Bansbari, Kathmandu.  The Chaudhary Group is said to have occupied precious ten bighas of government land in Bansbari. In the case of capturing the government-owned land, Binod Chaudhary’s younger brother, Arun Chaudhary, was arrested, and later, following the court order, he was released on bail.
