Swiss investors to participate in Nepal’s investment conference
Kathmandu, March 15: Investors from Switzerland are going to participate in the upcoming investment conference.
On Thursday, in a courtesy meeting with Finance Minister Barshman Pun, Swiss Ambassador Daniel Meuli said that Switzerland will provide all kinds of support to make the investment conference a success.
She informed that the minister has asked her for the participation of the Swiss investors in the Nepal Investment Conference. She also informed that the Swiss private sector is willing to invest in Nepal.
Since the investment environment is gradually improving in Nepal, we have asked our private sector businessmen to bring investment to Nepal", she said, "I would like to inform you that businessmen from Switzerland will participate enthusiastically in the investment conference."
Ambassador Danielle also informed that a delegation from Swiss Global Enterprises is also preparing to come to Nepal on August 23. She said that the team wants to cooperate with the private sector of Nepal in the field of import-export.
Similarly, Ambassador Meuli also said that they are interested in Nepal's airport management because they have good experience in airport management. She urged Minister Pun to speed up the revenue mobilization project in the municipalities under the Koshi Province and other Swiss projects in the pipeline.
